Spring 2013: Troop 8 just had their Quarterly Court of Honor with quite a bit of awards handed out:

Top Ranks: Andrew Lockerby received his Eagle Scout Silver Palm

Bradley Henson received his Eagle Scout Bronze Palm

Jamie Lamont received his Life Scout and will now start to work towards Eagle Scout

Zachary Grim and Mark Grim received the ScoutStrong Award and President Lifestyle Activity Award

Ken Weeks received the BSA Recruiter Strip for recruiting a new member into the troop

Cobra Patrol received the National Honor Patrol Award

Acknowledgment to the Troop for participation in Scout Sunday and Guilford Courthouse Historical Trail

Acknowledgment to the Troop for being awarded the 2012 Journey to Excellence Unit Gold Award

There were many more promotions and merit badges handed out.

There are 4 additional members of Troop 8 which brings our total to 36 boys in the Troop
